Octavia Night, Northride’s resident Cemetery Grim, has spent her life caring for the deceased. She has the training and the weapons to fight off soul snatchers, but she’s never faced one this hungry.
Something is impersonating the dead in Northride, Minnesota. Business is booming for the local mediums who now have far easier access to the spirits their clients wish to communicate with. For Simone De La Cruz, this means more contact than she asked for with her late older brother. It might be bearable if she could be sure it was true, but as a skeptic at heart, she’s unwilling to believe the return of her brother’s spirit is real, much less a good thing.
